The issues were addressed through the facilitation of keyboard access and function within web pages. A question is this: RSI is often an acquired disability and more common than quadriplegia. Have we made the persona less relatable and if so, how to address?

Agenda
- "Evaluation Tools" vs. "Test Tools" — what is common terminology? pros and cons to us changing to consistent terms?
- "Evaluation Tools" is used throughout WAI website, e.g., Evaluating Web Accessibility Overview
(note: to change this would mean the videos use different terminology) - "Test Tools" is used in ACT Rules Format
- for Rules, would be good to change this phrase: "evaluation tools and test methodologies" to use one of the words, that is, "evaluation tools and methodologies" or "test tools and methodologies"
- "Evaluation Tools" is used throughout WAI website, e.g., Evaluating Web Accessibility Overview
- Evaluation Tools List - showing recent changes
- Selecting Evaluation Tools - any comments on past goals and discussions before starting this update?
- Easy Checks Next Gen — discuss significant revision and update!
- In addition to the updates and enhancements mentioned, any other ideas?
- Any comments on open issues and questions, e.g.: Each check on separate page? "Rating" each check as easy or not? Archive the harder checks, and not update them?
- Thoughts on what to prioritize, and what we might want to defer to a later iteration (with unknown timeline)?
- Work for this Week
Summary
EOWG considered the question of terminology related to "testing" or "evaluation" when naming resources and the pros and cons to both or either terminology. It seems that most people in the field refer to testing tools but internal to WAI we often frame them as evaluation tools. The point was raised that while testing probably makes more sense to most users, there are tools that simulate impairments that couldn't really be called 'testing" and in a procurement situation 'evaluation' is a more accurate term. After discussion the opinion seemed to coalesce around the idea that there is difference enough in how they are used to keep using them as is. The question will be on the survey in case others want to weigh in with other perspectives. Next Chairs and staff spoke about updates to the Easy Checks resource and some of the questions the group will address (listed in the agenda above). Please complete the curriculum survey by EOD today and keep up with work for this week - thanks all!

- Discuss input, and invite comments in the GitHub issue

- Monkey Review and Starfish Review Surveys need your attention -- short meeting today to give you time now
Summary
Chairs happily announced the coming update to Easy Checks, one of the most used WAI resources that has become outdated. Eric Velleman and his group will take up that revision as their next project. Next the group considered that as ARIA has moved the Authoring Practices Guide into WAI space from TR space, EO is asked to weigh in on naming conventions. Overall (but not unanimously) the feeling is that Authoring Practices may be too vague and unfamiliar a term. Do designers/developers who will want to find and use the Guide think of themselves as authors? Will they know to search for this and even more importantly will they feel they are on the right place when they land there? Detailed discussion in the minutes. Next the group was urged to review the current draft of Accessibility of Remote Meetings Since the data from our October survey on the resource was not submitted, any further comments or those that were overlooked can be submitted now as individual comments. The meeting wrapped up with a reminder that there are two important surveys that remain open - please review Work for this Week and complete the surveys before the closing dates. Thanks for all you do!

Summary
Eric V and Charlotte presented the recent updates to the Accessibility Evaluation Tools List. The EO group agreed that this was excellent progress and thanked them for the thoughtful way they have integrated user feedback. Based on the discussion, the editors posed a series of questions to the weekly survey for the consideration of the larger EO group. Daniel next presented the recommendation of the Curriculum Task Force to restructure the Content Author modules. Input requested from the group via the weekly survey. Chairs announced that we would have a face to face meeting in person with a robust remote attendance option. The schedule is definite for Friday May 13 and still considering Saturday May 14 as an option depending on the amount of work to do. There was not much interest in remote attendance on Saturday. The meeting closed with a reminder to check in with Work for This Week, to please, please, please add pointers to where you see EOWG resources being used and referenced. For example, see the neat tweet listed on the EO Outreach tracker wiki page, and to complete the weekly survey. Thanks all!

Summary
Lionel represented the Personalization TF and joined the EOWG weekly meeting to help brainstorm the naming convention for their work as it prepares to go to CR. Discussion led to an agreement on the principle of finding a single short word that was relevant to the actual purpose and easy to understand. 'adapt' written in sentence case rose to the top of the discussion. As an acronym, an abbreviation, or a stand-alone word, 'adapt' was the most widely approved although others remain in consideration. Further discussion continues in GitHub. Next, Shawn presented her extensive work on the page to list current WAI work. Its purpose is to encourage understanding, support, and participation in this effort. EO participants submitted comments and made a few suggestions on page approach and titling. The meeting wrapped up with a reminder of the time change for next week and the need to update surveys and check in with work for this week. Thanks all!

Summary
Daniel reviewed the feedback he is looking for in the Eagle Review survey for the Content Authoring Modules. He reminded the group that they have a June deadline and asked for quick turnaround as he brings question and review items about this resource. Shawn introduced the draft of a page she has built to explain and promote participation in WAI WGs and TFs. In reviewing DRAFT Accessibility Work at W3C participants made suggestions and asked questions about the resource. Shawn made live updates and asked all to continue to consider and to provide further feedback in the EOWG Weekly Survey. Brent then informed the group of the re-start of the Video resource project focused on the three setions of How People with Disabilities use the Web. He asked for participation in a small group that will oversee the production of the videos. The meeting wrapped up with a reminder of two special meetings next week (linked from the agenda) and update to Work for This Week. If you need access to Monday's meeting see the EOWG connections page, or email Brent for the link. Thanks all]

Summary
The meeting began with a look at the newest design prototype for the WAI resources that supplement WCAG and other Guidelines. The group agreed that the proposed layout and design made the content much easier to read and navigate. After discussion and a few suggestions related to navigation, the group approved the design. Janina Sajka joined the meeting to present the current state of the work on what is now called Personalization. In the interest of clarity and to avoid confusion with with how the term is currently used in contexts other than accessibility, Janina asked EO to help find a naming convention that would help distinguish this work. The goal is to land on a name that will make a memorable impression (ARIA was used as an example). After some discussion - and much appreciation - of the topic, it was tabled so people could think about it. EOWG will take it up again next week. Next the group reviewed the commenting process. They were reminded of resource review stages, how to comment most usefully for the editors, and how to to indicate "no comment" or "need more time." Chairs and editors thanked the groups for very useful recent comments. Updates on How People with Disabilities Use the Web indicate steady progress on the large number of useful comments received. The tutorials have been migrated from the old layout and updates made to errors and minor issues in the content. A preview was offered for review along with the information that the Tutorials will be re-published under the established process for minor changes. EO was asked to watch work for this week on the EOWG meeting page for a weekly survey to ensure we are alert to the upcoming review requests. Thanks all.

Summary
The group reviewed the current Evaluation Tools List prototype and determined to take action or get user input on these questions:
- Is "Product" the right term for that category? (suggested option "Content")
- Designate mobile or desk top within "application" filter
- Examine potential overlaps in categories that include Product, Media Type, Scope, Metrics, File Format. Is there a way to simplify/streamline?
- Simplify Paid/Free option choices
- In defining pages to be tested, examine use of "sample" vs "selection" vs others
- Consider how to place ARIA. Suggestions were:
- Rename category Guidelines and Specifications
- Nest ARIA within HTML
- Rely on user finding ARIA by Search
- Consider the ACT Rules - where to place them? Carlos will meet with team
- Replace "Tool is Accessible" category
- Ask instead for accessibility statement
- If yes, require a link
- If no, link to Accessibility Statement Generator
- Consider randomizing filter results
The group expressed their great satisfaction and gratitude for the excellent work on this important resource. Looking next at the Supplemental Guidance page redesign the group focused especially on the navigation. Discussion led to these considerations:
- Need to tweak wording around Supplemental Guidance is not required.
- Consider bread crumbs
- Consider arrows for Previous, Next
- Clarify the Objectives and how they are identified
The meeting wrapped with a brief mention of face to face possibilities and a request to complete the survey linked from Work for this Week.
