  2. Volunteers needed - to update Business Case references within existing WAI resources. Please review the tasks below and if you can help, contact Chairs or indicate your availability in the Holiday Homework survey. The deadline for completion is quite flexible and your help is greatly appreciated!
    • Search WAI resources for references to the Business Case – title, content, links, etc. List content references related to the business case beyond just the title (probably in a spreadsheet or wiki page).
    • Review context to determine if edits are needed that more accurately reflect the new version of the business case. For example, does the article refer to content that was in the old business case and is not in the new one? If so, is a pointer to the archive useful?
    • Communicate interest and work with Planning Team to develop process and timeline at public-eo-plan@w3.org <mailto:public-eo-plan@w3.org>
  3. Outreach - add thoughts on overall outreach.

Norah is leading a small group through a proscribed process to submit edit suggestions from EO to AG. Please consider participating in this work. These documents may be the most important part of the suite of WCAG documentation. They are not currently readable or very helpful to most readers. If you can help, please respond to the message sent on 06 June to the EO mailing list and Norah will add you to her team. We need your help, thanks for considering!
  4. Business Case: Work on the Business Case has similarly been taken up by a smaller editorial group. Please send email to the EO mailing list to participate in that effort. Thank you.

  3. Document Your Outreach - Help EOWG demonstrate reach & impact
    • Past example: Perspectives outreach - skim through to see what kinds of information we provided and the Tracking section to see what data we captured
    • Policies outreach (not as significant) - feel free to update with feedback that you've seen
  4. Mobile Accessibility Developers Intro draft - comments welcome in Mobile Intro repo on GitHub, particularly on these issues (opened in GitHub), some of which were discussed in the 02 June telecon:
    • Mini personas: We'd talked about linking to these fully off-page, but please check two different approaches shown to linking to or listing these, as part of "why this is important"
    • For candidate success criteria being submitted to WCAG 2.1 but not yet confirmed: How best to present these? Separate, integrated, other?
    • Any reaction on the code examples? More are in development, but feedback on these could help confirm the approach.
    • We've been debating how to make the document as easily maintainable as possible, even while mobile guidance is in flux. Trying two strategies: comment in/out swappable sections; and "long view" timeline references in the first page "concepts" section.
  5. Please feel free to introduce new issues that are not included here, bearing in mind the limited time that we have to address them.

This will help the Chairs easily view which resources we should expect active updates and work on.

    • Planning/Categories captures all the sections within the Planning Roadmap resource and activities important to undertake in that phase of the project or programme.
      • Spend time looking through the Categories document and the Planning prototype Note: Currently the prototype has only the top level for all sections and the whole of the Initiate section developed.
      • Consider the high level categories being used in the Planning Roadmap; Initiate, Plan, Implement, Monitor. Are there any big gaps? Do the categories work for splitting out planning activities? Is the terminology understandable?
      • Within each high level category is a set of activities. While reviewing these activities for each category please consider the following: Are there any additional activities that might help? Are any of the activities too broad, too narrow? Are any of the activities much more important than others? Should any of these activities be in other categories?
      • The survey for this week will reflect this work and give direction on providing feedback.
  2. QuickRef
    • Continue to review current navigation and filtering functionality of the QuickRef redesign
      • Become more familiar with the filtering functionality and Filtered Success Criteria section when filters are being used
      • Become more familiar with the scroll bars and the location of the footer section
      • An additional survey designed for the EO and WCAG Working Groups will be available early next week as a way to provide further feedback and approval for QuickRef public review
    • Tags Taxonomy - A smaller group of participants are currently working on a taxonomy of tags for activities by role for the QuickRef redesign. This work is based on the concept outlined in GitHub Issue #28. To add input, revisit issue and comment as appropriate.
