This hybrid seminar will focus on Generative UI, WebSkill, and related cutting-edge Web AI technologies, bringing together international standards communities and industry experts to jointly discuss standardization topics such as interoperability, performance optimization, accessibility, privacy and security, verification testing, and synergy with existing Web platform technologies.

Please register before 4 September, indicating whether you plan to attend in person or remotely.

Open discussion topics include but not limited to:

  1. Today, users open an app, find a feature, and click a button. With the emergence of Agents and Generative UI, this may evolve into a scenario where users simply express their intent, and the system automatically invokes services and generates interfaces on the fly. In your view, what will be the primary interaction entry point between users and digital services three years from now? Will it be apps, browsers, Agents, or something entirely new?
  2. Technologies such as WebMCP, WebSkills, Generative UI, and visual browser operation are all attempting to address the challenge of enabling Agents to interact with the Web. From the perspective of the Web's long-term evolution, which capabilities should be solidified as stable Web standards, and which are better left to the implementation layers of models, frameworks, and products, where they can continue to evolve rapidly?
  3. As more users access information and online services through AI Agents, will the future Web continue to be primarily rendered for human consumption, or will it gradually shift toward providing structured data, tools, and capabilities natively for Agents? 

    Will we see a "two-tier Web" emerge—a Human Web and an Agent Web? If so, which elements must remain consistent across the two tiers, and which can diverge?

Remote participation

Zoom will serve as the remote access platform for this event. The presentation sessions will use Zoom's built-in Caption & Translation feature, while simultaneous Chinese-English interpretation will be provided during the open discussions to facilitate smooth real-time communication. Detailed instructions will be sent to attendees via email.

This event is a sub-forum of the 2026 CCF Standards Conference and The 5th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Standard Innovation Seminar. The main conference is jointly hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Standard Innovation Alliance, with the theme being "Digital Intelligence Innovation, Standard Empowerment."
