This year, W3C is centralising the hotel booking at the AC meeting venue. If you stay at this hotel, please reply to the questions at the end of this form to confirm your hotel booking.
New! The AC Rep may send up to 3 representatives from each Member organization. The list of the representatives must be communicated to acregister@w3.org before they can register.
(I am proposing this, but I am probably not the best chair for this; volunteers welcomed!)
The future of the Open Web was discussed at a popular breakout at last year's TPAC (notes from that session).
One theme from that discussion that should out to me is that the open web is under threat. What mitigating actions can we, the AC, envision for the W3C and its community to take?

The Strategic Outreach Task Force has made progress on the definition of stakeholder groups, define criteria for prioritization and started drafting value proposition documents to guide an strategic outreach strategy. The Task Force will be interested to gather members' input into this work.
Reinaldo Ferraz (NIC.br) is an active member of the TF and he will be on site and able to assist with the breakout session. Sylvia Cadena (Team) is leading the TF, and she will join remotely to present the work. Other TF members will be on site to support as well.
Goal(s):
Gather members input to Strategic Outreach Task Force work
Through a more systematic approach to open source software (OSS), W3C can have a variety of positive impacts on the Web, including interoperability gains, an accelerated incubation-to-adoption pipeline, increased resilience of the Web through sustained support for critical code resources, and more widely adopted code that aligns with W3C’s mission and values. The Structural Evolution Initiative Task Force has been discussing this topic for several months, and the staff plans to present in plenary some of their ideas for taking a more systematic approach to integrating open source software projects in W3C. This breakout session is for structured discussion within the Membership about questions, concerns, and support.
Goal(s):
Seek feedback and questions on an open source software program at W3C.
