Claim

A method comprising: selecting, with a communication device during a transaction and using a transaction processor application, items for purchase at a remote transaction processing computer; determining, by the transaction processor application, available payment accounts; identifying, by the transaction processor application, a payment account from the available payment accounts; communicating, by the transaction processor application, transaction data associated with the transaction to a payment application on the communication device; retrieving, by the payment application from a memory in the communication device, a payment credential associated with the identified payment account; and providing the payment credential, by the communication device, to the remote transaction processing computer, wherein the remote transaction processing computer thereafter initiates a payment transaction with the payment credential. 22. The method of claim 21, wherein the payment credential comprises a token. 23. The method of claim 22, wherein the transaction processor application is a merchant application. 24. The method of claim 22, wherein the remote transaction processor computer initiates the payment transaction with the payment credential by decrypting the payment credential and generating an authorization request message including the decrypted payment credential. 25. The method of claim 21, wherein the communication device is a mobile phone. 26. The method of claim 21, further comprising: presenting, by the communication device, the available payment accounts to a user of the communication device; and receiving, by the communication device, a selection of the payment account, the selection identifying the payment account. 27. A communication device comprising: a processor; and a computer readable medium, the computer readable medium comprising code, executable by the processor for implementing a method comprising selecting, with the communication device during a transaction and using a transaction processor application in the communication device, items for purchase at a remote transaction processing computer; determining, by the transaction processor application, available payment accounts; identifying, by the transaction processor application, a payment account from the available payment accounts; communicating, by the transaction processor application, transaction data associated with the transaction to a payment application on the communication device; retrieving, by the payment application from a memory in the communication device, a payment credential associated with the identified payment account; and providing the payment credential, by the communication device, to the remote transaction processing computer, wherein the remote transaction processing computer thereafter initiates a payment transaction with the payment credential. 28. The communication device of claim 27, wherein the payment credential comprises a token. 29. The communication device of claim 27, wherein the transaction processor application is a merchant application. 30. The communication device of claim 27, wherein the remote transaction processor computer initiates the payment transaction with the payment credential by decrypting the payment credential and generating an authorization request message comprising the decrypted payment credential. 31. The communication device of claim 27, wherein the communication device is a mobile phone. 32. The computer of claim 27, wherein the method further comprises: presenting the available payment accounts to a user of the communication device; and receiving a selection of the payment account from the user, the selection identifying the payment account.
