Meeting
Revising W3C Process: Examine the way W3C works. Propose improvements to the formal processes.
Usual meeting time: SECOND and FOURTH WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 7AM PACIFIC.
Agenda
1 ) Assign scribe, etc.
2 ) Issues up for closure
Stronger emphasis on reaching Recommendation
Process should ask or maybe require folks requesting a document transition to CR to describe why/how they think the document is likely to exit CR
3 ) Community Groups and Business Groups should be incorporated into the Process
Should we address #409 in our upcoming revision?
4 ) Director-Free: Recusal from W3C Council
Given our experiments, are we still satisfied with the recusal as defined in
director-free/#council
For example, we're looping the AC in our dismissal steps nowadays. Should this be added to the Process or left to the Guide?
5 ) Let the Team rather than the Director handle progression on TR
Do we need more discussion on this one?
6 ) Maturity Level is a weird term
7 ) TAG Appointment: Review the proposal before sending it to the AB
director-free/#TAG-appointments
Unless we have comments, the next step is to open an issue for the AB.
From 2022-06-08 meeting
8 ) Process 2022, The Milestone: long list, shorter list
Any candidate resolution on any of those issues?
9 ) Any other business.
10 ) Next meeting.
