Speech Recognition Grammar Specification Is a W3C Proposed Recommendation

W3C is pleased to announce the advancement of the Speech Recognition Grammar Specification Version 1.0 to Proposed Recommendation. Comments are welcome through 18 February 2004. Speech grammars allow voice-based application authors to create rules describing what users are expected to say after listening to each application prompt. Visit the Voice Browser home page.
