User Agent Accessibility Guidelines Become a W3C Recommendation
The World Wide Web Consortium today released User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as a W3C Recommendation. Written for software developers as part of the Web Accessibility Initiative, the guidelines explain how to design browsers and media players that lower barriers to the Web for people with disabilities (visual, hearing, physical, cognitive, and neurological) and improve usability for all users.
