XML-Signature Advanced to Candidate Recommendation

W3C is pleased to announce that XML-Signature Syntax and Processing has become a Candidate Recommendation. XML digital signatures provide integrity, message authentication, and signer authentication services. The specification is the work of the joint IETF-W3C XML Signature Working Group.
