Our digitalised world is full of data that transform into personally, socially, scientifically, or commercially meaningful information, when properly presented as linked data.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Finnish Office and Tampere University of Technology (TUT) organise a technology and science symposium at TUT campus on October 3, 2012 that presents the state of the art development and research around Linked Data. The program of the day includes a keynote by the distinguished W3C expert Dr. Michael Hausenblas, and invited expert presentations on various applied research and technology topics.

Recommended background knowledge includes rudimentary understanding of Web technologies, or rudimentary understanding of science and engineering disciplines. The event is in association with the MindTrek 2012 International Media & Business Festival. Welcome!
