First Public Working Draft: Verifiable Claims Data Model and Representations

The Verifiable Claims Working Group has published a First Public Working Draft of Verifiable Claims Data Model and Representations. Driver's licenses are used to claim that we are capable of operating a motor vehicle, university degrees can be used to claim our education status, and government-issued passports enable holders to travel between countries. This specification provides a standard way to express these sorts of claims on the Web in a way that is cryptographically secure, privacy respecting, and automatically verifiable.
