Semantic Web is a lot of fun

A couple of weeks ago, W3C has released a few logos for the Semantic Web.

As usual, in the open Web, the information went out a bit quickly. The usage policy on the logos is too restrictive for the Semantic Web community. They expressed it in a really entertaining way. The policy says:

The logo may not be used to disparage W3C, its Member organizations, services, or products.

Hey, that leaves a lot of room for parody! Semantic Web hackers prove once again that they have a lot of humor.

• Shelley Powers created a tasty one with the Semantic Web logo running after the microformats logo.
• Danny Ayers played with a shy blue man. It made me think about the roman empire troops tactic: testudo. He made another version with his kitty. The cat is out of the box.
• Laurian Gridinoc made a headache version of the famous cubic game. I wondered if someone tried to create to solve the cube with owl rules.
• Joe Gregorio goes underwater and dive into the mysteries of lawyers.
