First Public Working Draft: SHACL 1.2 Rules

The Data Shapes Working Group has published a First Public Working Draft of SHACL 1.2 Rules. This document describes Shapes Constraint Language (SHACL) Rules. This document introduces the concept of inference rules for SHACL 1.2, a mechanism for deriving new RDF triples from existing data using declarative rules defined in shapes graphs. This extends SHACL’s capabilities beyond validation, enabling reasoning and data enrichment. This specification is part of the SHACL 1.2 family of specifications.
