File Upload: Working Draft

The Web API Working Group has released the First Public Working Draft of File Upload. Applications will be able to use this API to trigger a file selection dialog with which the user can select one or more files in their local file system. It allows client-side manipulation of the content, for instance to display an image or parse an XML document from disk. The group invites comments from Web content and browser developers.
