This session dives deep into the world of Threat Modeling and focuses on high-impact Harms and Threats emerging from the EU Digital Identity Systems, such as the Spanish Age verification project “Cartera Digital Beta”, aligned to the specifications of the European Digital Identity Wallet and based on eIDAS2.

Considering the importance of having security, privacy, and human rights by design in innovative technologies, this engaging workshop moves beyond traditional threat mappings to analyze systemic harms and threats - including discrimination, exclusion, and profiling - through a hands-on threat modeling process leveraging the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® core process, and tracing them back to their technical and governance causes.
