The WG's first face to face meeting took place on Wednesday 11 March 2015 during the OGC Technical Committee Meeting in Barcelona.

Keyworth (Nottingham)
Those at the OGC TC at the BGS will meet 13:00 - 15:00 on the Wednesday 16th September (i.e. the normal time but starting an hour earlier, making call 2 hours long)16th September 2015 12:00 GMT

Sapporo
The second face to face meeting will take place at W3C TPAC in Sapporo, Japan, during the last week of October.

Amersfoort (Amsterdam)
The third face to face meeting will take place at the offices of Geonovum, Netherlands, 8 - 10 February 2016.
February 8 - 9 is a regular working group meeting.
February 10 is a Platform Linked Data Nederland conference where we have a 30 minute plenary slot in the morning and a parallel 2 hour track in the afternoon to hold an open working group meeting.

Best Practices subgroup 'virtual meeting'
To give a boost to the Best Practices work, the editors will conduct a half-day virtual meeting on Tuesday 3rd May, starting at 11:00am UTC (midday UK time, 13:00 Europe). The main objective is to collectively take some quality time working on sections of the Best Practice deliverable.

TPAC 2016, Lisbon
The fourth face to face meeting will take place at W3C TPAC, Lisbon, on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th September.
WG members are, of course, welcome to stay throughout the week. Wednesday is the plenary day that includes an unconference session. The week overall is the best way to meet the W3C community... and learn the rules of Werewolf. Unfortunately, this is the same week as the 100th OGC TC in Florida. Sadly, attendance at TPAC is subject to a fee. Details on the TPAC page.

The fifth face to face meeting will take place in London, on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th December 2016 at the Google Offices in Victoria. The meeting will focus on Best Practices work, the main objective is to collectively spend some quality time working on sections of the Best Practice deliverable. There will also be some time for other work stream work in particular coverages ?

SDW Best Practice Webinar

The Spatial Data on the Web Working Group (SDWWG) Best Practices document is ready for TC consideration for approval as an OGC Best Practice. The TC and public review period will start in the coming few days, as soon as the updated draft is published. The current draft of the candidate Best Practice is located here; please note that the most recent edits will likely not be published until 11 May:

Prior to a TC vote to recommend the Best Practice for approval, the work must be presented to the TC.
