Ontology for Agents, Systems, and Integration of Services Community Group

Semantic representation is a fundamental enabler across various application domains, including multi-agent systems. The OASIS ontology (Ontology for Agents, Systems, and Integration of Services) offers a formal and shared framework for modeling agents, interactions, processes, procedures, and events. Developed over several years, OASIS has found applications in areas such as e-commerce and blockchain technologies. The mission of this group is to advance its formalization by leveraging Semantic Web technologies.

This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2025-07-01 by Daniele Francesco Santamaria. The following people supported its creation: Victor Lu, Daniele Francesco Santamaria, Domenico Cantone, Laura Brisindi and Giorgia Leanza. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.

The group must now choose a chair. Read more about how to get started in a new group and good practice for running a group.
