Call for Participation in Automotive Ontology Community Group
The Automotive Ontology Community Group has been launched:
The Automotive Ontology Community Group is an informal group of individuals and corporations who want to advance the use of shared conceptual structures in the form of Web ontologies for better data interoperability in the automotive industry, and this at Web scale. In particular, we want to develop
extension proposals for schema.org so that automotive information can be better understood by search engines and
OWL Web ontologies for the automotive industry.
Also, we want to provide a forum for bringing together researchers and practitioners who are working on advancing the field.
In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account. Please note, however, that W3C Membership is not required to join a Community Group.
This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2015-05-07 by Martin Hepp. The following people supported its creation: Martin Hepp, Dan Brickley, Karol Szczepański, Chris Senior, Mirek Sopek, Alex Moore-Niemi. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.
The group must now choose a chair. Read more about how to get started in a new group and good practice for running a group.
