Proposed Group: CV 3.0 – Global Resume Community Group

The CV 3.0 – Global Resume Community Group has been proposed by Opeyemi Awoyemi:

Move the current textual and graphical resume to a structured, accessible, privacy-respecting resume format that benefits both applicants and recruiters while giving applicants ultimate control of their data.

You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account.

Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as “proposed”; it will be in the list of current groups.

If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org

Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team

I agree with this idea. There’s JSONResume JSONSchema, and I’ve been experimenting on that subject. One use case be a way to allow filter work project experience based on technology names. Which, would, in turn be useful in Effort estimation for software engineering projects. One estimation technique involve keeping track of past projects, the used technology, platform, and a description of each participant experience who worked on the project.
