Proposed Group: ORCA – Object-RTC API Community Group

The ORCA – Object-RTC API Community Group has been proposed by Erik Lagerway:

A group of like-minded individuals that are interested in the Object-RTC API model for WebRTC. It\’s likely these individuals or organizations are also taking part in the IETF RTCWEB and W3C WebRTC working group discussions.

You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work.

In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account.

If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org

Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team

One Response to Proposed Group: ORCA – Object-RTC API Community Group

  • I would like to see an Object-RTC based API for use within WebRTC. My concern is that Open Peer can still function within this proposed model and “play nice” with other standards that have other needs, issues, and concerns too. I think there’s a huge overlap of common ground between Open Peer’s needs and the needs of other protocols.
