Call for Participation in Geometry API Community Group

This group is to explore options and features around a native geometry API for operations on points, vectors, matrices, and so forth. Some features would include finding intersection points, centroids, shape area, and other common use cases, as well as specialized case for mapping.
In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account.
This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2013-06-20 by Doug Schepers. The following people supported its creation: Doug Schepers, Ian Johnson, Satoru Takagi, Olly Clements, Rik Cabanier. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of its activities.
