W3C Group Note Published

WebVMT was published as a W3C Group Note by the Spatial Data on the Web Working Group on 19th September 2023. Many thanks to all involved.

New features include:

• Synchronised sensor data
• Interpolation
• Location altitude
• CSS extensions
• DataCue API

The webvmt.org website has now been updated for compliance.

Developers

• Please review the Group Note and update your implementations accordingly.

Users

• Please update any WebVMT software that you use to the latest version.
• Existing WebVMT files can be updated using the online tool.
• Please ensure that you retain backup copies of existing files before updating them.
