Call for Participation in Universal Safety Net for Online Learning Community Group

The Universal Safety Net for Online Learning Community Group has been launched:

Learning to make the case for a new kind of user-learner help becoming common to the basic UI of browsers. One aspect: every html rendered word an invisible button that opens a help system able to provide anything any learner might need to recognize-read and/or understand the word (eventually) regardless of language, reading skill, vocabulary, background knowledge, or age.

Online Learning Safety Net (OLSN)

In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account. Please note, however, that W3C Membership is not required to join a Community Group.

This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2021-01-22 by David Boulton. The following people supported its creation: David Boulton, Kirk VandenBerghe, Dustin Boulton, Atrthit Kosachunhanun, Kevin Manley. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.

The group must now choose a chair. Read more about how to get started in a new group and good practice for running a group.
