5.3 Biometrics
Discussing the scope of the understanding. How much information should be in it? We should interpret it as we think it means instead of trying to twist the wording. Then get feedback from people involved in writing the requirements.
We decided to make a simple draft on GitHub, where comments and changes can be made. Erik will cherry-pick information from our joint brainstorming document. Tobias will provide initial feedback.
Other notes
Tobias will visit the Danish authority tomorrow. Questions are appreciated.
Providing oral formats in Denmark (requirement in EAA): Still uncertain what is mandated. Anne has had talks with the Danish agency and is working on a blog post on the subject: https://deranged.dk/posts/2026-04-07-mundtlig-offentliggoerelse-i-tilaengelighedsloven
Erik will share the emails on the topic from Sikkerhedsstyrelsen and PTS.
Erik is awaiting documents for the first communicated audits from PTS. Has also spoken to another actor about collaborating with the GitHub repository for monitoring agencies, trying to gain more traction and also helping to shape how the agencies work cross-border. More information to come.
