Proposed Group: Schema.org Community Group
Posted on:The Schema.org Community Group has been proposed by Dan Brickley:
The Schema.org Community Group provides a forum for discussing all changes, additions and extensions to schema.org. In addition to providing a public setting for the day to day operation of the project, it serves as the mechanism for reviewing extensions and as a liaison point for all parties developing independent extensions to the schema.org core.
You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account.
Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as “proposed”; it will be in the list of current groups.
If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org
Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team
I see I used the url schema.org/docs/extensions.html instead of schema.org/docs/extension.html – will ask to get this updated; sorry about that.
The intention at schema.org is to update /docs/extension.html in the light of the new improved extension model discussed in https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-vocabs/2015Mar/0117.html – I thought it better to link to an updatable URL rather than to a frozen mail thread. Pity I spelled it wrong!
Hi Danbri,
I fixed the URI in the proposal.
Ian
Thanks!! Don’t forget to vote for the CG 😉
I’ve also dropped a quick note to the public-vocabs list, explaining the thinking behind this new group – https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-vocabs/2015Mar/0193.html
