Call for Participation in Geospatial Semantic Web Community Group

W3C has launched the Geospatial Semantic Web Community Group

GeoKnow addresses a bold challenge in the area of intelligent information management: the exploitation of the Web as a platform for geospatial knowledge integration as well as for exploration of geographic information. This group will bring together scientists, GIS users, linked Data users, data consumers and providers, interested in the exploitation of linked geospatial data.

This group will not produce specifications.

In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account.

This group was originally proposed on 2012-11-27 by Alejandra Garcia Rojas. The following people supported its creation: Alejandra Garcia Rojas, Dimitris Kotzinos, Jens Lehmann, Jon Jay Le Grange, Claus Stadler.

If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org

Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team
