        • Goals
        • Scope
        • Deliverables
      • Review of fulfillment of the proposed IG Process
  • Requirements around Payments Accessibility, e.g. APA WG (Shane McCarron, Katie Haritos-Shea)
    • The APA working group has set up a task force to work on Payments Accessibility.
    • This task force is now gathering requirements from a variety of different groups.
    • The work in progress is at [1].
    • Requirements (as issues) will be tracked in [2] as they come in.
    • We are also looking at specific language that can be added to Recommendations (such as the Browser Payment Request API) to encourage implementors toward development of accessible interfaces layered atop APIs that do not have actual UI requirements. (cite the current CfC at [3])
    • present information about a11y concerns that seem particularly on point:
      • User scenarios that have an increased risk of accessibility challenges (second screen / device, timeouts, low vision / contrast sensitive, motor control, cognitive issues)
      • Web merchant payment API interaction with mediators
      • Mobile devices as payment instruments in retail
      • Multi-modal payment processes and the challenges they present
    • Ask IG for input on issues their constituents face
    • A11Y concerns with loyalty programs / coupons?
    • Invite participation in the task force
    • Encourage early review of the scenarios to increase awareness and jump-start discussions

  • Regulatory landscape, e.g. P2PE (Jean-Yves Rossi)
    • Examine regulatory landscape from a Geographic perspective (US, Europe, China)
      • Discuss up to date information about requirements and the expected evolutions affecting payment markets
      • A first inventory about "must comply" rules or regulations
    • Needs: input from US and China.
    • Note on EBA draft requirements
  • Payment flows such as micropayments, B2B, and M2M payments.
  • Concrete topics about external standards such as ISO20022 and ISO12812
  • Payments in Emerging Economies
  • Overview of payments in China (Dapeng Li)
    • Includes: Mobile and proximity payments in China
  • Paid content discussions (Andrew Betts)
    • Different payment strategies might apply in different geopolitical locations, e.g. in the UK, “recurring payment authority” can be:
      • Standing order (set up by payer, no payee control)
      • Direct debit (payee control (when and how much), but payer can stop it) – most common method.
      • Continuous (payee has authority and control (normally used for servicing debt))
    • Aspects of these strategies include setup (boarding), counting, and billing.
    • When publishing content, producers (like Nikkei) have to follow not only local regulations and customs, but also follow policies from search engine providers.
    • SEO should be able to identify when content must be purchased, and determine amount/currency/terms available for payment.
  • ISO Liaisons and Status
    • (outline tbd)
