The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG) is developing version 2.0 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). We are responding to feedback we have received since publication of WCAG 1.0 in May 1999. The Requirements for WCAG 2.0 outlines our goals for version 2.0. For information on latest drafts of WCAG 2.0, refer to the "Current Work" section of the WCAG WG home page.
This page is evolving into the work page for the Techniques Task Force of the WCAG WG.
The techniques documents provide technology-specific guidance for WCAG 2.0 guidelines and success criteria.
This document merges what was called "Core Techniques for WCAG 1.0" and "Techniques for WCAG 1.0" into both a gateway to the technology-specific techniques and collection of general techniques that apply across technologies.
Current status: Several script writers have recently joined the mailing list to discuss scripting techniques.
