Objectives

The WCAG 2.0 Techniques Task Force of WCAG WG ("Task Force") operates under the WCAG WG charter.

The objective of the WCAG 2.0 Techniques Task Force of WCAG WG is to create techniques, tests and advisory information that support the Requirements for WCAG 2.0 Checklists and Techniques.

Communication

WCAG 2.0 Techniques Task Force of WCAG WG communications are publicly visible. Communication mechanisms for the Task Force include:

To highlight messages sent to the mailing list related to techniques, often times the subject line starts with "[techs]."

Participation

Task Force participants must be participants in good standing of the WCAG WG, should have experience with a Web technology (such as HTML, CSS, or SVG), and actively contribute to the work of the Task Force, including:

The Task Force is facilitated by Gregg Vanderheiden and John Slatin, Co-Chairs of WCAG WG, with Judy Brewer available for consultation as interim team contact.
