Jason's text from ACTION-1569 contains the question:
"Automation elements in the UIA accessibility tree have a Name property. [what about description in UIA?]."
We need to address that somehow.
We are adding a UIA property called "FullDescription" in addition to the existing "Name" and "HelpText" properties and "LabeledBy" and "DescribedBy" relationships It is not yet in public builds. I will update UIA mappings to include it.

Also, noted that the text was added to the ATK/AT-SPI mappings, not the UIA mappings. See the rendered version:
