W3C Strategic Highlights, May 2020

W3C released today to the public the May 2020 W3C Strategic Highlights. The report covers the massive and critical work that took place since last September at the Web Consortium toward the growth and strength of the Web, how W3C meets industry needs, and provides updates in key areas, as well as the latest around Web for all and outreach to the world. Authorized Translation of WCAG 2.1 in Dutch

Today W3C published the Authorized Dutch Translation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Richtlijnen voor Toegankelijkheid van Webcontent (WCAG) 2.1. The Lead Translation Organization for this Authorized Translation was the Accessibility Foundation.
Translations in other languages are listed in WCAG 2 Translations. W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) particularly encourages the development of Authorized Translations of WCAG 2.1 and other technical specifications to facilitate their adoption and implementation internationally. First Public Working Draft: CSS Box Sizing Module Level 4

The CSS Working Group has published a First Public Working Draft of CSS Box Sizing Module Level 4. This module extends the CSS sizing properties with keywords that represent content-based “intrinsic” sizes and context-based “extrinsic” sizes, allowing CSS to more easily describe boxes that fit their content or fit into a particular layout context. This is a delta spec over CSS Sizing Level 3.
CSS is a language for describing the rendering of structured documents (such as HTML and XML) on screen, on paper, etc.
