Welcome to the collaborative web space for the W3C Audio WG - the group chartered to work on next-generation standards for audio processing and synthesis on the web.
This is the wiki home page for the W3C Audio Working Group.
We work on the following tech:
- the Web Audio API, and
- the Web MIDI API.
- We also produced a Use Cases and Requirements document, published as a Working Group Note.
For a detailed breakdown of deliverables and milestones, see the W3C Audio Publications and Milestones wiki page.
How we work (and how you can contribute)
We work in the open, and welcome contributions and review from experts and the general public.
See the page on Contributing for links to our issue tracking, processes for submitting bugs and feature requests, etc.
The Audio WG meets in a teleconference every two weeks, and face-to-face once or twice a year. See Meetings for logistics and minutes of all past meetings.
