I don't have concerns, but wanted to make a comment regarding the discussion in the minutes on what type of basic content should be included in tutorials on html and css - There are several courses on edX.org by W3C contributors on HTML and CSS fundamentals https://www.edx.org/course/html5-and-css-fundamentals. It may be a good idea to use some of this content or point to these resources. |

I don't have concerns but wanted to express enthusiasm for the plain language Silver version of guidelines. These are the types of changes that will make accessibility much more easily understandable to a broad range of people in diverse roles! The Heading example provided would also be a good place to incorporate examples specific to online learning group and publishing group. For example in the Summary section, under Types of content that may use a heading: add - Content within Learning Management Systems and - Digital or ebooks including ePub format. |
