WAI-ARIA for Accessible Rich Web Applications: Working Drafts
2007-06-01: The Protocols and Formats Working Group published updated Working Drafts of WAI-ARIA Roles and WAI-ARIA States and Properties. WAI-ARIA attributes provide information about objects that extends what is available from markup. This allows people with disabilities using assistive technologies such as screen readers to access rich Web content built with Ajax and DHTML. This release provides better alignment to accessibility APIs and provides more explanatory material. Read the WAI-ARIA Overview and about the Web Accessibility Initiative. (Permalink)
