   • Reminder that a Call for Exclusions has been sent for patents relating to the First Public Working Draft of our Finding on Usage Patterns For Client-Side URL parameters. The call for exclusions ends 22 October 2009.
   • Reminder of future F2F meetings:
     • 23-25 Sept 2009 @ MIT (Per resolution of 24 June 2009)
     • 2-6 November 2006 @ W3C Technical Plenary, Santa Clara, CA
     • 8-10 December 2009 @ MIT - contingent on on consultation with John Kemp and T.V. Raman (Per resolution of 25 June 2009). Raman has since confirmed that this plan is OK with him, but warned that he may not attend.
   • Suggestion that we co-locate TAG meeting with IETF meeting in Anaheim, 21-26 March 2010 (email from Larry and response from Noah — both W3C member-only)

     • June 2009 F2F discussion of plans to review HTML 5 drafts
     • Architectural Considerations for Language Versioning for the Web (Note from Larry Masinter and Jonathan Rees)
     • Ian Hickson announces availability of initial drafts of HTML 5 authoring specifications. This is, in part, in response to a suggestion made by Noah in October 2008, shortly after the HTML/TAG joint working group meeting at the Mandelieu Technical Plenary.

7. Semantics of "resources" in RFC 3986 and RFC 2616
   • Background:
     • Pat Hayes note expressing interest in TAG's opinion of a position taken by Henrik Nordstrom. The question relates to compatibility, or lack thereof, of the concept of "Resource" as used in RFC 2616 vs. in RFC 3986, and in the context of the TAG's resolution of issue httpRange-14 (now tracked as ISSUE-14 - CLOSED). The note summarizing Henrik's view is included as a forward in the note from Pat. In any case, Pat says "I do not expect a reply, but I put it to y'all...".

     • Decide whether we want to consider the question(s) posed by Pat, and if so, establish next steps.

   • Goals:
     • Larry requests that we discuss origin header and content sniffing in HTTPbis.
9. IRIEverywhere-27 (ISSUE-27):
   • Goals:
     • Get a review from Larry of his informal discussions about IRIs at the recent IETF meeting. The specific concern is "around making sure that no host name containing a % or containing raw non-ascii is ever passed to a DNS resolver".
