Additions and adjustments to core Schema.org terms
The objective of this proposal is to enhance the core of the Schema.org vocabulary to improve its capability in describing the products and services offered by financial organisations such as banks.
The proposal is being tracked and discussed in the Schema.org GitHub schemaorg repository under issue (#969)
By definition this is a basic proposal. There are potentially many other enhancements possible for the financial sector that would be the subject of a future FIBO specific hosted extension proposal that builds on this foundation.
