Drafts of individual WCAG success criteria to migrate to Silver
We are migrating a few current WCAG 2.1 success criteria to Silver to test our process. The drafts of the migrated success criteria under development are:
- Section Headings - this was the Plain Language prototype proof of concept. It is in HTML with a tab interface.
- Headings Updated Draft - December 2019 updates
- Visual Contrast of Text (formerly Color Contrast)
- Visual Contrast Draft - used to create the How-To and Method. It is not current, but contains information that was not included in the How-to.
- Scope exploration for Contrast - where we were iterating content
- Contrast Test strategies document
- Color Contrast Discussion - highly technical emails about impact of color on vision acuity and related issues

- XR and Emerging Technologies
- Locate the User - this came from the Information Architecture prototype testing to test the concept of new guidance that is difficult to test using true/false statements (success criteria). It has sample tests and methods. The idea and some text comes from the Design Patterns for Mental Health website. It was inspired by a blog by Dave Swallow - A web of anxiety: accessibility for people with anxiety and panic disorders.
