Shortcuts that submit a transaction on field action can violate "user must remain in command of dialog"

State:
CLOSED
Product:
ARIA 1.0 Authoring Practices
Raised by:
Aaron Leventhal
Opened on:
2007-08-09
Description:
Interactively-rich Web Applications (with behavior implemented by scripting) are likely to re-invent the problem of too-sweeping system reaction to user actions. Versions of this problem have to do with on-change scripts firing when one arrows among list-box options, and automated form submit for events other than an explicit activation of an explicit 'submit' control.
