… no responses from ETSI yet
… it will be Monday or Friday

Kaz: will send reminder
… if we cannot decide slot, we might want to have the meeting on Friday as we've been doing

McCool: Half hour meetings are problematic
… but be careful .. it could be Monday

… both JSON-LD based

… was 1 September 2024
… remote available until Sept 27

… I will add a new column to track that

Breakouts

McCool: 6 timeslots
… please make sure that if you run a breakout add the name to this list
… and list conflicts

Kaz: This year we might want to use track system

McCool: Koster, proposal from TD side?

Koster: We have 2 topics

McCool: I have the concern when we wait too long

Mahda: One topic is schemata discussion
… Ege and I prepare the topic. Is about LinkML
… Ege is back in 2 weeks

<kaz> breakouts proposed by Ege (LinkML and Registry)

Koster: Second breakout is about registry

McCool: You should add the breakouts as issue

Mahda: I see

Kaz: I can check the conflicts myself. also will surely mention all the conflicts to be avoided.
… Dominique will do the schedule on 15th of September

Group meeting schedule

Kaz: > https://www.w3.org/2024/05/tpac2024-schedule-20240523.html

<kaz> TPAC schedule page

Kaz: Table view requires a very small font
… at the bottom
… at least there was one for breakouts...

McCool: It is hard to read
… it lists group calls...
… we do have joint calls

McCool: On Thursday we have 2 meetings, one of which is a joint meeting
… we need to get organized

Kaz: we have 2 joint meetings
… official meetings are on Thursday and Friday

McCool: We need to work on our agenda

McCool: 4 hours total
https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/Wiki_for_F2F_2024_planning

<kaz> (Kaz has just added the date/time for the WoT F2F part to the wiki)

McCool: we are at 4 hours

McCool: we have 30 minutes for slack
… we can use that slot for other things
… I also don't think I need 30 minutes for Discovery
… on the other hand 30 mins for TD is too short

Koster: We will talk about this in TD call
… and add some items on the Wiki

McCool: please add a preference for certain days also

Kaz: Need to think about priority, given the agenda is full

McCool: Feel free to propose new topics
… we can still try to shift stuff around.. or skip parts like "Policies"

Policies

McCool: we don't have enough time today
… shall we schedule a dedicated call?
https://github.com/w3c/wot/labels/Policy

Koster: I would like to see it done

TF Leads

McCool: at the moment we have task forces missing moderators
… Charith is willing to do security stuff
… discovery is mostly done ... may need updated once the TD2 is ready
… Architecture should not be a big deal
… testing needs to be restarted once TD work is done
… in use-case meeting we decided to go with Ege's "simpler" use-case template
… Luca needs to work on use-cases for profiles

McCool: We should clear backlog... like discovery use-cases/requirements
… let's see whether we need additional moderators

<kaz> (McCool will act as a (temporary) second TF moderator for the Use Cases TF to focus on requirements.)

Daniel: Minor: new template tried by Jan and myself with some feedback/improvement

McCool: Please make PR
… for the suggested improvements

Other Topics

McCool: Profile call this week ?

Luca: Next week, not this week

McCool: Should think about Plugfest as well

Kaz: Plugfest call after this call?

McCool: Suggest to skip today's Plugfest call
