Guides to Implementation of the (Revised) PSI Directive in the UK
Scotland's Open Data Resource Pack includes most of the Share-PSI BPs but provides extra context for their implementation. Birmingham City Council's guide to sharing PSI has been developed with local stakeholders in the West Midlands Open Data Forum. It is based on the experience of opening up data in a local government context and ensuring the data is re-usable. The guide covers in particular how to ease the data release process and overcome data owner reluctance. It demonstrates the importance of engaging communities to gain insights from data use. The guide has been published on the Digital Birmingham website and covers 10 of the BPs.
