3. Administrative items
   • The chair requests TAG member review of the draft TAG status report (member-only, at least until publication). If not comments are received by 5 March, the chair will go ahead and publish it.
   • Reminder that agenda requests for the F2F are due no later than 8 March 2010. The chair will be unavailable the week of 15 March, and will therefore be targeting 12 March for a near-final F2F agenda (reading materials will be accepted until 15 March)
   • Decide whether to cancel teleconference on 11 March (Tim unavailable)
   • Decide whether to cancel teleconference on 18 March (Noah & Tim unavailable, and it's right before the AC/TAG-meeting week)
4. ISSUE-65: Face to Face Meeting Agenda Preparation
   • Background:
     • TAG F2F is 4 weeks away — agenda input is due in < 1 week, on Monday 8 March
     • Chair has requested agenda input from TAG members (not much received yet)
     • HTML WG chairs plan to join us on Wed. morning
     • 25 February 2010 discussion of F2F content and member assignments
   • Goal:
     • This will be a quick followup to see if anyone has news since last week on what they'll be preparing for the F2F
5. ISSUE-41 & ACTION-396: Encouraging preparation of change proposals for HTML decentralized extensibility
   • Note: the chair would prefer to see this resolved in email prior to our telcon: if it's not resolved, we may discuss briefly on the call.
   • ACTION-396: on - Henry S. Thompson - Henry to draft emails for NM to send to HTML WG chairs and to Liam+MS authors encouraging a change proposal wrt distr. extensibility by 23 March - Due: 2010-03-04 - OPEN

6. ISSUE-57 & ACTION-348: Retaining address bar following redirect
   • Background:
     • ACTION-348: on Jonathan - Research reasons why browser providers (e.g. Mozilla) aren't willing to meet requests (e.g. from purl) to retain address bar URL following successful redirect- due 2010-02-23 -open
     • Jonathan's email announcing draft of a possible blog post on address bar updates when redirecting. See also thread following from Jonathan's email.
   • Goal:
     • Preliminary discussion of Jonathan's email: decide whether this is a promising direction to pursue.
     • Identify next steps.

9. ACTION-354: Client side storage APIs
   • ACTION-354: on Ashok - Review client side storage apis (web simple storage etc.), looking for architectural issues or other critical problems... or interesting design features the TAG should know about - due 2010-02-18 - Pending review
   • In January, Ashok sent an email reviewing the state of play regarding HTML client-side storage APIs.
   • For discussion on this call: Ashok's email of 23 Feb. providing further analysis of storage APIs; see also response from Dan Connolly raising some concerns.
10. ISSUE-62 & ACTION-363: WebFinger and Metadata Access
    • ACTION-363: on - Jonathan Rees - Inform SemWeb CG about market developments around webfinger and metadata access, and investigate relationship to RDFa and linked data - Due: 2010-02-24 - PENDING REVIEW

11. ISSUE-57 & ACTION-383: Speaks_for formalism to describe HTTP semantics
    • ACTION-383: on - Larry Masinter - Review DanC's email on speaks_for - Due: 2010-03-09 - PENDING REVIEW
    • Larry suggests (in the action notes): "this is a really interesting and important direction to pursue web security, and I support further work in this area; it reads on many of the elements that the TAG is faced with. However, I think the likelihood that the TAG itself will make substantial progress on this topic is very small. There are lots of loose ends, and the theoretical nature of the work doesn't match the TAG's capability to do work in weekly phone calls and occasional meetings. In fact, I think the direction Dan outlines would make a pretty good thesis proposal. If there was some way of encouraging the security research community to take this up, I would support that as a TAG action."
