Patent Advisory Group for Web Authentication Working Group Launched

In accordance with the W3C Patent Policy, W3C has launched a Web Authentication Working Group Patent Advisory Group (PAG) in response to disclosures related to the Web Authentication API; see the PAG charter. W3C launches a PAG to resolve issues in the event a patent has been disclosed that may be essential, but is not available under the W3C Royalty-Free licensing requirements. New Working Group Note: Web Payments Overview 1.0

The Web Payments Working Group has published Web Payments Overview 1.0, which provides an introduction to the Web Payments ecosystem in development at W3C. The document lists some goals for improving payments on the Web, and provides a high level view of how components in the ecosystem communicate. The Working Group welcomes feedback.
