Checker Task Force in BPWG

2008-07-31: The group resolved to release v1.0.
The Task Force is preparing side documents (schema, manuals) for this release to happen officially.
The Task Force would then have completed its job and switch to maintenance mode, and further improvements of the test suite.
2008-03-04: Test suite finalized

Description

The goal of the Checker Task Force is to implement an open-source Java library of a mobileOK checker that allows someone to check easily whether a Web page conforms to the mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 specification.

Are you interested in contributing to the development of the mobileOK Basic checker?

We very much welcome contributions to the open-source library, either as suggestions/bug reports/patches on our archived mailing list <public-mobileok-checker@w3.org>.

People who contributed to the development of the Checker: Sean Owen (Google), Miguel Garcia, Ignacio Marin and Abel Rionda (Fundacion CTIC), Jo Rabin (mTLD), Roland Gülle (7Val), François Daoust and Dominique Hazaël-Massieux (W3C).

Sean Owen was the leader of the Task Force from its creation in early 2007 to June 2008.
