BPWG Task Forces Home Page

Active Task Forces:

• Checker — build a mobileOK Basic checker
• Korean — work on gap analysis between the Mobile Web Best Practices and the Korean market
• Content Transformation — work on guidelines for content transformation

The following Task Forces are no longer active. The underlying works are now carried in the main body of the Working Group:

• mobileOK Pro — work on the 'Pro' specification
• Mobile Accessibility — compare the BPs with WCAG

Face to Face Meetings

We meet three or four times per year. These meetings are either at a location hosted by one of the participants, or during the annual W3C Technical Plenary meeting.

Mailing Lists

member-bpwg@w3.org is the member-only mailing list for the Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group, where only logistical and administrative communications should occur. It is archived.

This Working Group has also two associated public mailing lists: public-bpwg@w3.org, where most technical discussions and communications with the community at large occur (public archives); and public-bpwg-comments@w3.org, which collects comments on our documents (public archives).

Liaisons

The BPWG has established liaisons with the following groups/projects:

• Mobile Web Forum 2.0 in Korea
• OMA (through informal contacts, Hypertext CG, MWI SC)
• ETSI Technical Committee for Human Factors (TC HF)

We initially thought liaise with the following projects, but they never were really active liaisons:

• GSMA (Paul Walsh)

Coordination with HTML and CSS WG is done through the Hypertext CG.
