External dependency: State of HTML5 WG's work on 'ping' attributes.  As of 3 March 09, the HTML group's work on this is believed to be moribund.  Rank to be raised if 'ping' looks like reviving.

Tentative Conclusions:
We have the finding whenToUseGet. The TAG believes there are issues with the use of HTTP GET for the proposed HTML 5 ping attribute (and there are other issues with ping as well.)  We also note that there is question as to whether Mozilla will deploy ping.
