Description

TopQuadrant’s TopBraid Suite is a collection of integrated semantic solution products.

TopBraid Composer is a visual modeling environment from industry experts for creating and managing domain models and ontologies in the Semantic Web standards RDF, RDFS and OWL. Composer is an ontology editor and knowledge-base framework that provides visual editing support as well as interoperability with UML, XML Schema and databases. TopBraid Composer is based on the Eclipse platform and the Jena API. Composer seamlessly integrates logical and rule-based reasoning engines. It offers a convenient drag-and-drop, form-based user interface with the ability to view and edit ontologies in a variety of serialization formats. Testing, consistency checking and debugging is supported by built-in OWL Inference engine, SPARQL query engine and Rules engine. TopBraid Composer makes it easier for an enterprises to move to Semantic Web standards by importing legacy models including XML Schemas, UML, RDB Schemas and spreadsheets. Open APIs are available, it can run with the database back-end for improve scalability.

TopBraid Live is the deployment platform of the TopBraid Suite. In addition to providing a sophisticated mechanism to synchronize and cache RDF data between client and server, TopBraid Live also provides an extensive library of reusable Flex-based user interface components such as maps, calendars, forms, search forms, graphs, tables and trees.

The tools also implements RDFa and GRDDL. See additional info
