Schema.org New Release 3.0 with the health-lifesci.schema.org Extension
Posted on:Hi All,
Some of you already received this public announcement:
http://webschemas.org/docs/releases.html#v3.0
But those who missed it , the health-lifesci.schema.org extension is a new home for our existing Medical and healthcare related terms, as well as potential future collaborative work.
Among other improvements, a large number of medical/health terms have been moved from core into a health-lifesci extension. See: https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/492
We are expecting in couple of coming weeks some improvement around 2 points:
1/first pull request regarding:
– Generalization / specialization medical terms in health-lifesci extension
See: https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/1114
2/next pull request regarding:
–improve terms definition and labelling under ‘MedicalSpeciality’:
See: https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/492#issuecomment-213704477
Thanks a lot for the hard working at schema.org side and also at schemed W3C CG side.
~Marc
Why this website don’t have different languages support?
MedicalBusiness does does not currently validate using the Structured Data Testing Tool Provided by Google. Is there an issue with the Schema or is the problem with the testing tool? I am able to set MedicalBusiness as an additionalType and the json+ld will validate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
am not quite sure I can help you on this as am not using the tool, but folks discussed similar issue here:https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/1002#issuecomment-188709106 and here:https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/1009. Can you raise this as an issue at Github?
