Video-Based Resources/Evaluation Introduction/Timeline

Tentative schedule for completing the video animations (for Chair's discussion):

  • Wed 16 Oct: Approval of changes survey closes
  • Fri 18 Oct: EOWG approve one video as "ready for animation"
  • Wed 23 Oct: Receive v1 (rough) draft of first animation
    • With mock-up voice-over, no music, and no sound effects
  • Fri 25 Oct: EOWG discussion of first animation and any changes to other video scripts (new changes made due to approval of changes survey)
  • Mon 28 Oct: EOWG survey until Thu 31 Oct for further input (with link to minutes), for those who could not attend the Fri 25th discussion
  • Thu 14 Nov: Receive v2 of first animation and v1 of all other ones
    • With music, mock-up voice-over, and no sound effects
  • Fri 15 Nov: EOWG survey until Thu 21 Nov for input on all 5 animations
    • This is during Accessing Higher Ground (AHG) conference
  • Fri 29 Nov: EOWG discussion of survey comments
  • Tue 3 Dec: Receive final of first animation and v2 of all other ones
  • Wed 4 Dec: EOWG survey until Wed 11 Dec for input on the all v2 animations
    • Hopefully no more comments on the first animation but can be considered, if needed
  • Fri 13 Dec: EOWG survey discussion of comments
  • Fri 20 Dec: EOWG survey until Tue 7 Jan to confirm final comments on v2 animations
  • Fri 10 Jan: EOWG survey discussion of final comments
  • Fri 17 Jan: EOWG discussion of visuals for Video 5
  • Mon 20 Jan: EOWG review until Wed 22 Jan of updated visuals script for Video 5, and of assistive technology icons
  • Fri 24 Jan: EOWG discussion of visuals for Video 5; approval of assistive technology icons
  • Fri 24 Jan: EOWG survey until Tue 28 Jan of images for Video 5
  • Fri 31 Jan: EOWG approval of visuals for Video 5
  • Tue 4 Feb: Receive final of all animations (including final sounds and voice-over etc.)
  • Wed 5 Feb: EOWG survey until Tue 12 Feb for final sign-off of all animations
  • Fri 14 Feb: (if needed) EOWG comment resolution of video sign-off
  • Wed 19 Feb: EOWG survey until Wed 26 Feb for final sign-off of video integration on WAI website
  • Fri 21 Feb: EOWG discussion of video integration on WAI website
  • Fri 28 Feb: (if needed) EOWG comment resolution of video integration on WAI website
  • Week of 2 Mar: WAI publication and announcement
