Quick Items

Ege's message about TD publication

Ege's message

Koster: should wait for Ege's participation

Profile publication

Kaz: we need to generate a static HTML for publication
… there is a guideline README.md at wot-thing-description repo
… maybe already copied to wot-profile repo

Ben: would look at what to do
… and let you know if need any help

Kaz: ok

Koster: any other quick items?

(none)

Ege's message about TD publication - revisited

Ege's message

Koster: quickly revisit Ege's message on publication

Kaz: note that Ege has added a normative change after the transition request in addition to the HTML generation itself

Koster: ah, ok

Kaz: so we should revert the additional changes and publish the HTML as is
… for that purpose, we can wait one more week :)

Koster: ok

Ben: wondering if those changes are really normative...

Koster: we can quickly review it...

TD PR 2140 - TD 2.0 FPWD Publication

(quick review)

Kaz: if there are separate 2 PRs, one for HTML generation and another for normative assertion removal, we could merge the first PR
… but those changes are mixed up within PR 2140, so we need to wait

Koster: ok
… what about Binding Registry and Binding Templates?

Registry PR 38 - Draft Registry Publication

Binding PR 442 - New Note Publication

Kaz: technically, we can merge those PRs, and I can check the diff between the static HTMLs and the Editor's Drafts

Koster: ok
… any objections to merge them?

(none)

(Registry PR 38 merged)

(Binding PR 442 also merged)

Koster: regarding TD PR 2140, we need to wait
… any other discussion?

(none)

Koster: any other quick items for today?

Notices

Kaz: leaving W3C the end of September
… talking with Philippe and Francois about the transition

Koster: tx for your help!
… and congrats for your new role!

Sebastian: also would say tx to you!
… pity to lose you
… would expect we'll meet at TPAC :)

<dezell> de: Kaz, I'm at a loss for words. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Koster: any other quick items?

… any other point?

WoT TPAC wiki

WoT TPAC wiki

specifically, the Topic section of the wiki

Kaz: we can review the list of the proposed topics

Koster: ok
… we need to look into expected joint meetings, and start to outreach those groups
… which groups we still want to meet?

Kaz: let's collect information first, and think about the priority next

Koster: ok
… what about our own group topics?
… definitely need to discuss TD/Binding
… what about other topics?
… Discovery, Architecture, Scripting API, Security/Privacy?

Kaz: maybe it would make sense to put "Who to lead which topic"
… so let's put some concrete name to each topic

Koster: yeah, good idea
… any volunteer for any particular topic?

(none for today)

Koster: let's continue the discussion next time
… let's see who would sign up with which joint meeting also
… what about the breakout session?

Kaz: regarding Breakout, the date/time for our demo breakout has been fixed as Wednesday at 17:30-18:30, we can put that information instead of the general information

Koster: (adds an additional subsection for plugfest under "WoT F2F Agenda")
