"Inclusiveness" of the Binding Registry
McCool: we will do a time-boxed discussion today
… this should take max 15min
… we need to decide about the Inclusiveness of new WoT Bindings
Ege: we need to make decision about the inclusiveness and how free the linked binding or the registry entry should be
… there is a PR available

McCool: how many points still open?
Ege: maybe 4-5
<EK shows Modbus binding web page>
Ege: its free accessible and open
… other may be not accessible directly (need login) or you have to pay a license (e.g. Matter)
Ege: if there is a document, e.g., behind a paywall, we should able to still review the document to approve that the binding is compliant to WoT
McCool: I think, it should be allow to have free access
Ege: in the Matter case, the devices has royalties but not the consumer application
Kaz: good discussion but we have only 15min. Expectation for the main call today should be a report what is decided so far from the TD-TF's viewpoint, and clarify which topics are still to be discussed. We should come back to the main call in 1 or 2 weeks after getting basic resolution from the TD-TF's viewpoint.
… technical details cannot be discussed during this call today, but can be done during the TD call today or tomorrow.
Sebastian: the registry should make it clear, that a binding is not free accessible and/or is not approved from us
Sebastian: we should also check IANA how they handle this
Kaz: agree
Kaz: we should also talk with PLH and possibly the TAG also about this when we get resolution from our (WoT) viewpoint
Meetups
McCool: some news from meetups?
Ege: no from WoT CG
Kaz: Smart City IG will organize a meeting, however, there will be 2 slots due to the different time zones
